Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I am ready to start training with you. What do I need to do?
A: The first step to begin training is for us to sit down and chat about you. I like to learn about prospective clients so I can know how to program for you specifically and help you be successful in attaining your goals. If you know what kind of training you are wanting to participate in, the first payment would be due that day in order to reserve your training spot.
Q: Is there a cost for the initial consultation and free workout?
A: No, the consultation is for us to learn more about each other and answer any questions you might have. However, if you are scheduled for a consultation and need to cancel, I ask that you contact me to cancel or reschedule. If an appointment is not kept and proper notification of cancellation is not made, you will be charged for an initial consultation ($25) should you decide you still want to meet. Expect for a consultation to last between 45-60 minutes.
Q: How are payments done for the different training programs?
A: Group training and boot camp payments are usually completed on the day of the first training session. Sometimes payments are due in advance in order to reserve your spot if space is limited. The preferred method of payment is Venmo but I also accept cash, PayPal and Cash App.
One-on-one and semi-private training sessions must be paid for prior to being put on the training calendar. If you are paying for a single session, only that amount is due. If you are doing a contract, the full amount for the month is due up front. The remaining payments for the contract length will be drafted on the same date you sign up (or your date of preference) and will not automatically renew after the contract is up.
Q: I want to do a contract for training but I travel a lot. Will I lose those sessions if I don't use them each month?
A: No, you will have a one month grace period after the three month contract ends to finish using any sessions that might have rolled over. After that month, sessions will be lost.
Q: Can I pay for the entire contract price up front?
A: Yes. You will still have the same amount of time to complete those sessions (3 months plus one month grace period).
Q: What if I have to cancel a one-on-one or semi-private training session?
A: There is a 24-hour notice requirement should you have to cancel. If you cancel within that 24-hour window, you will be charged for a session.
Q: Do I need to have a membership at Bug Out Training in order to train with you? Is there an annual fee or enrollment fee?
A: There is no membership fee, annual fee or enrollment fee at Bug Out Training. You pay for the services you want.
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: I do! I offer a 10% discount for personal and partner training to military, law enforcement and firefighters (to include their spouses).
