Bug Out Training Studio offers amenities such as water if you forget to bring your own beverage, sweat towels, and an air-condioned location with two large fans to help keep you cool during your sessions. |
About Bug Out Training
I founded Bug Out Training to create something I couldn’t find elsewhere - a space where safety, authenticity, and personal growth is the core focus. After years of working in environments where I couldn’t serve people the way I felt called to, I knew I had to build something of my own. I wanted to empower people to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies and lives.
My journey wasn’t traditional. I started in the legal field, but everything changed when I enlisted in the Army at the age of 26. I thought I was fit, but basic training quickly showed me what true physical readiness meant. That experience sparked a passion for fitness and wellness that has only grown stronger. Since then, I’ve explored various forms of movement and seen firsthand how it can bring joy, relieve stress, and build community.
In my mid-30s, I left law behind to fully commit to helping others live healthier, more resilient lives. I wanted to be someone people looked forward to seeing - the person who helps them push past limits and achieve things they didn’t think were possible.
That’s the spirit behind Bug Out Training and our motto: “Train for Life.”

Bethany is married to her husband, Julian, who also has his personal training certification and helps out at the studio occasionally. They have two adult children, Julian and Taylor.

Bug Out Training is a locally owned, boutique training studio located in Pelham as you take to exit 242 (the tank farm exit) from I-65. Here, you’ll experience personal training and small group fitness in a private, 1,200 sq ft climate-controlled space designed to help you focus, feel comfortable, and train without distractions or judgment.
As a by-appointment-only studio, you won’t deal with crowded gym floors or waiting for equipment. Every session is intentional and structured. There are no membership, enrollment, or annual fees - you simply pay for the services you choose. |

Due to our limited-capacity model which helps us maintain the quality and experience each member deserves, booking is required for class attendance. Once a class is full, we operate on a waitlist which will automatically promote in the order of sign-ups should there be a cancellation.
