The total time for the IonCleanse by AMD Detox Foot Bath can take up to 45 minutes. This includes the prep time before, the foot bath, and then the time needed to finish up the experience. The actual foot bath itself will take up to 30-minutes. This time can be less if it is determined you need to be "worked up" to the full time.
You should NOT use the IonCleanse by AMD Detox Foot Bath if you fall into one of these categories:
If you have a pacemaker or any other battery operated or electrical implant,
If you are on dialysis, take insulin/are diabetic, have epilepsy or congestive heart failure, undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, are on any heartbeat regulating medications or blood thinners,
Pregnant and/or women who are breast feeding,
Anyone 13 years old or younger,
Organ transplant recipients,
If you take medication for mental or physical impairments such as psychotic episodes, seizures, etc (since it can be drawn out during the detox),
If you have any open wounds or a skin infection on your feet.
A special consideration should be taken for those who have a metal joint implant. Some have found the exposure to the detox bath to be uncomfortable.
A complete cycle is 14 sessions. This package must be used as a complete cycle as recommended. Cycle recommendations are: 3 times a week for 14 sessions with a three-week break afterwards (individuals aged 14-50), and 2 times a week for 14 sessions with a two-week break afterwards (individuals aged 50 years and older). You must schedule all 14 appointments for the cycle within 6 months of the date of purchase and must be scheduled as a cycle which will take between 5-7 weeks.
Any sessions that remain unused 6-months after the purchased date will be void.
